Privacy

Reading does not require an account. Comment accounts store a public display name, verified sign-in identifiers, and session information. Phone numbers are never displayed publicly.

Comments and accounts

Published comments show your name, text, and posting date. Comments may require approval. You can delete your own comments. Connecting another sign-in method requires verification.

Sign-in and third-party services

Sign-in uses necessary session cookies. Theme preferences and unsubmitted comment drafts stay in your browser. Google and GitHub process their respective authorization requests. For SMS verification, your phone number and code are sent to Alibaba Cloud PNVS or international SMS for delivery; this site stores only keyed hashes of the phone number and code.

Retention and contact

Sessions last up to 30 days. Temporary authentication and rate-limit records are cleaned automatically. Deleted comments have their text removed while the reply structure may be retained. Contact me through my academic homepage for account data requests.
